November feels like the exhale I didn’t even know I needed.
Usually, I’d be filled with that familiar end of the year urgency, trying to do all the things, be all the things and finishing the year strong. Mostly our biggest push was onboarding new clients in Q4…but this year, I keep hearing the same quiet whispers: Be Still.
I have onboarded no new Clients for Tax Prep and for that I’m actually super happy. I get to focus on the Clients I have now, that I know and care for as we approach this upcoming tax season.
The government shutdown has been super heavy on me as I have many colleagues, family members and friends who are government workers.
I often think about what if I was still at the IRS as so man
y of my old co-workers have been laid off since the agency is downsizing.
What crazy times we are in.

This year has stretched me spiritually, emotionally, and professionally. But in the midst of these changes, I can say I’ve made some big pivots that I’m super proud of.
Also, as I’m working with my very first cohort inside of The House of CEO, I’ve realized how much I love love LOVE what I’ve created in there AND how deeply transformational it is not only for the Members but for myself. I am so excited to do more of these in the future.
This month, I’m learning to trust the in-between. To not rush clarity or try to force what’s next. Stillness has been my strategy.

Here’s what I’ve been reading, listening to, and loving this month:
Books on My Desk

The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell — Outliers is one of my fav reads! Currently listening to this book and it’s making me think differently about timing, influence, and the invisible patterns that move success forward. How trends are made, etc. Very interesting read!
The Enchanted Greenhouse by Sarah Beth Durst— the cover to this book captured me at the bookstore so I purchased it and finished around Halloween. A very cozy whimsical fantasy read…also a feel good story plot about giving second chances―to others and to yourself

The Way to Integrity by Martha Beck — a grounding book about living in alignment with truth and authenticity.
A note to leave you with:
If this season is asking you to pause, let it.
You are not falling behind. You are being positioned.
As we move toward the end of the year, my hope for you and for myself is that we release the pressure to perform and instead create space to prepare.
Rest is not the absence of productivity. It is the rhythm that allows it to return stronger.
Much love,
Nacondra
